Training

AEquitas hosts several national training events, including: the National Institutes on the Prosecution of Sexual Violence, I and II; the National Institutes on the Prosecution of Domestic Violence, I and II; the Prosecution of Sexual Assault in P.L. 280 Jurisdictions; and Prosecuting Domestic Violence Homicides. In addition, AEquitas hosts webinars or web-based training events on various topics for prosecutors and allied professionals.

AEquitas staff are also available upon request to provide training related to the prosecution of violence against women. These trainings can be on-site or web-based; specific to a particular region, statewide or national in scope; and can range in length from 1 hour to several days.

All AEquitas training events are tuition-free and scholarships may be available to help prosecutors and their offices offset the cost of travel-related expenses.

If you are interested in contracting with AEquitas to provide on-site or web-based training for prosecutors and allied professionals please contact Christina Mathews, Communication and Operations Manager via .
